Cut off percentage for students of S.V. Jr. College 60% and for students from other colleges 65%.

Documents Required for Admission :

Students should bring the following documents in original along with duly attested photocopies for verification at the time of admission:

  1. .
    1. Original Mark sheet of H.S.C., two xerox copies of Mark sheet and one xerox copy of Leaving Certificate (LC) for F.Y. admission.
    2. Original Mark sheet of First Year along with one xerox copy for S.Y. admission.
    3. Original Mark sheet of First Year & Second Year along with one xerox copy each for T.Y. admission.
    4. For new admission at S.Y. / T.Y.— NOC with enrolment details to be produced from the previous college.
    5. One recent Passport size photography taken with light coloured dress for all classes.
  2. Caste Certificates (if applicable)
  3. Documentary evidence regarding special category status
  4. Eligibility Certificate (students coming from other than Maharashtra Board and Maharashtra Technical Board)
  5. Physically handicapped candidates should produce the relevant certificate from competent authority.

In case the original mark sheet of H.S.C. has been submitted for admission to any college, a certificate to that effect, signed by the Principal of the College must be produced.

Students have to offer Seven papers. All papers are compulsory carrying 100 marks each.

  3. Business Economics Paper I
  4. Environmental Studies
  5. Mathematics & Statistical Techniques
  6. Accountancy & Financial Management.
  7. Commerce Paper I : Business system and the society

S. Y. B. Com.

Students have to offer Six papers carrying 100 marks each

  1. Foundation Course Paper - II (Science & Scientific methods, Dynamics of Science & Technology)
  2. Business Economics Paper - II (Microeconomics)
  3. Commerce paper - II : Marketing & Finance.
  4. Business Law
  5. Accountancy and Financial Management Paper - II
  6. Applied Component : Advertising OR Investment Analysis.

T. Y. B. Com.

Students have to offer Seven papers carrying 100 marks each.

  1. Commerce Paper III : Management & Human Resource Development.
  2. Financial Accounting & Auditing Paper I
  3. Financial Accounting & Auditing Paper II
  4. Management Accounting
  5. Business Economics Paper III : Developmental Issues of Indian Economy.
  6. Applied Component : Psychology at work OR Computer Systems.
  7. Export Marketing Or Direct & Indirect Taxation.

At the T.Y.B.Com. level for the Applied Component Group:- Export Marketing and Direct and Indirect Taxation, the students have to work on the project, which is a part of each paper. The main question paper will be of 80 marks and Project Work will be of 20 marks. In order to pass in each paper a student must secure a minimum of 16 marks out of 80 in the theory and minimum of 7 marks out of 20 in the project works separately and a total of 35 marks out of 100.

The students of T.Y.B.Com. are required to have 75% attendance in each paper by January, 2009.

The Principal shall not sign the Hall Tickets of T.Y. students unless the students pass the Prelims Examination. Failures will have to appear for the Re-Prelim Examination and clear the same. Hall Tickets of such students will be signed by the Principal on clearance of the Re-Exam.
