Vivekanand Education Society's College of Arts, Science & Commerce (VESASC) is managed by Vivekanand Education Society (VES) The Society was formed in 1962 starting with High School education. and situated in Chembur, an Eastern Suburb of Mumbai. A tiny seed sown then has, today grown into a big tree with deep roots, a strong trunk, branching out in all directions, providing educational services right from Nursery to Higher education in general, professional and technical streams.

The Society has completed 46 years in providing Value Based Education.

The Goals of the Society have been:

To start educational institutions from K.G. to Higher education in general, vocational and professional streams.
To start Fine Arts Academy.
To start a Research Center.
To work for the moral, physical, cultural and intellectual development of the students.
To infuse in students the spirit of self help, sacrifice and service.

The Society strongly desires an all-round development of its students and wishes to provide ample facilities for the TOTAL PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTER BUILDING. It is a parent body that supervises over the activities of many institutions under its umbrella. Like a true patriarch, it cares for and ensures the welfare of all the students and staff by providing necessary facilities, commonly and jointly to all the Institutions.

Vivekanand Education Society provides the following facilities for the welfare of students and staff members :

Lectures series on Vendanta.
Centre for Learning Music and Dance.
Vocational Career Guidance bureau.
